Default claybar and wax

I bought the Meguiras claybar kit and tried it out for the first time. I only did a small portion today since I spent a few hours on it trying to make sure I got ever part of it. Only did the right corner panel and the trunk so far lol..

Before

After

I donno if you can see the difference on the picture but you can see and feel it in person

Looks pretty good, so far

Yeah, it's time consuming to do detailing like that but it's also a good investment of your time. Nothing sexier than a shiny black Lexus!

P.S. > don't forget to remove the wax residue from all of the panel edges, etc. After all "detailing" is all about the details...

Looking good If your paint is swirly/scratched, have you considered bringing it to a pro to get it polished back to new? With a dark car they look amazing IME

I got this kit to make the damn water stains or whatever it was that you see on your windows go away. Friend said it was the clearcoat or something popping up but whatever it is its gone now haha. Just did one side today and part of the corner panel on the driver side. haha.. finish the driver side and top 2morrow..

How do you use the clay bar? What did you do to make your paint look so good?

my driver side in the rear where my wheels are is starting to crack probably because I hit something and the car was too low..
