Default Should i get an alignment

Hi, i just got new rear struts and new strut mounts put on my car, as i was driving on the highway i encountered some problems; First, i hear a lot of knocking noise when i drive come what sounds like the back seats. Secondly, when i started to drive 55mph it seemed as if my car was swerving from the back, so i pulled to the shoulder and tried tightening all the tire but they was already tight. So, my question is if you get rear strut work done do u need a alignment?

Maybe something wasn't tightened properly. Sounds like a shoddy mechanic if they didn't know to do an alignment.

Also there are (I think) 3 TSB's for the rear suspension, you need to make sure that you have the upgraded parts in there.
