Default Engine misfire? Not sure need help!!!

Hey guys these past two days my car has had a pulsing feel to the engine when it is warm, when its cold its doesnt do it at all only when the car is warm. Also its more apparent when you turn the car back on after driving it will shake more right after turning it on when warm and goes away when you start driving it.

Now I went ahead and cleaned the EGR even though it was clean when I pulled it out, now im wondering if I have to take the IAC out and clean that but im not sure because I ran BG fuel injecter cleaner about two months ago so let me know what you guys think.

Misfires result in certain codes that should show up P03XX. There are codes that can be locked in the computer known as pending codes that don't throw a check engine light, but still would indicate a problem. My girlfriend has a 99 Expedition that I could tell had a misfire, but the CEL wouldn't light up, but put in my code reader and sure enough it showed P0305 pending or pd.

OK guys I think Im getting warmer to the problem of my car and hopefully someone can guide me to the solution. I noticed that when I press on the windows switches the radio lights start to dime and then the car starts to pulsate again almost feels like a misfire and felt like the car wasn't getting enough power I let go of the switch and it goes away. This morning when I turned the car on it started very week and after that it would turn back on nice and strong. Is it the battery or the alternator????

An old trick for the alternator would be to disconnect the battery while the car was running (i.e. pull the neg. cable). If the car died it pretty much would indicate that the alternator isn't working correctly. If the car keeps going then the alternator is doing it's job. That at least will eliminate the alternator.

Virtually any car parts store could run a check on your battery.

OK guys went to autozone and they tested my battery and it failed so I bought a new battery and now my car turns on so good and strong but the motor still pulsates whenever I turn the car back on when warm and goes away if i press the throttle or if I start driving.. I have no idea what it could be

Haha you will permanently eliminate your alternator if you try this one! The voltage reg will jack the field current to the max, the output voltage will skyrocket, and all your diodes will blow.

In the old days the reg wasn't onboard the alt so I guess it might have been ok...
