I got tired of the poor ride quality and road noise from the 17 in rims, and the low profile tires cost almost twice as much to replace.
So...i switched back to 15". except this time, they are chrome rims from 1997-1999. Guess how much i paid![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
install will happen friday (pics will follow)...err how do i know how tight the lug nuts should go on?

I'ma sell the IS rims, cause they are all messed up, you wouldn't even want them on ur car. I'll probably sell all 4 for $175 or something.
BTW while ur down here, polish my car up
Its been neglected cause of school ![Sad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
I commute 30-40 miles a day round trip to school, mostly highway, so comfort is my number one priority. I also never did that sound deadening test yet, i'll buy a sound-measuring thingy at radio shack and do a before/after.
Why not keep your stock chrome rims? they look decent...

I've often flirted with the idea of going back to some stock ES rims myself. It's interesting when you see that others are pondering the same thing.
I also ponder stock springs too. I wonder how often modded folks consider that after all the trouble and expense of lowering. We'll see how these KSports ride once they arrive and are repaired...
So let's see some pictures on Saturday with the "new" (to you) wheels on. Where'd you find them? I cruise eBay for ES rims, but they're rarely in good condition. And then there are the replicas, which scare me on quality.

I searched SD Craigs List after you posted this and I believe I found him too haha. I would stick with my stock chromies BUT 2 of them have a huge dent in them from a hitnrun sideswipe I was in. Thats why I'm looking to upgrade a bit. Currently looking at Scion tC rims though to see if those will work....
I would detail your car Bryan but the next time I go down is for my friends birthday. Sides, I only detail on the weekends or on my breaks. School is stupid hectic to do anything during the weekdays![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

I only had time to put on the front two...err thats ok to drive for a day right?
Hondasi88 - nothing really wrong with it, but expensive low profile tires that last half as long as higher profile tires, rubbing on the rear suspension parts with 215/50/17 tires, which are the correct tire size, road noise (at least twice as much as stock rims w/ michelins, and potholes and bumps, not having a spare wheel/tire.
I haven't driven around on these yet...wonder how it'll handle with this combo on it haha.
