Look what happened to my baby!
I was in the middle of a 5-car pile up the other day. Three other cars and I were stopped, waiting for a crossing guard to allow us to go through an intersection, when some kid wasn't paying attention, and ran into the car behind me at 40 mph. The car behind me got pushed into my 95 ES, and i was pushed forward into a celica. $4000 worth of damage to my car, it'll take about a month to repair. The other driver was at fault, so at least i don't have to pay. The car needs a new hood, new right front fender, front and rear bumpers, and the rear frame plate must be repaired. I tried to post pictures of it from my digital camera, but the files were too large. I'll work on degrading the quality so that they can be posted

That sucks, especially the month to repair. When I first read the post, I was picturing it worse than it was. At least your not hurt (hopefully). I'm still having neck problems and regular chiropractic treatments from when I was rear-ended last September. I had a Civic and was sitting still and hit by a van that had to have been going over the 30 MPH limit. The car was totaled and my neck is messed up, but at least I wasn't seriously hurt. And I've got a Lexus now, so some good came of it.

Yeah, the damage doesn't look as bad as the repair pricetag suggests. I guess lexus parts just aren't cheap. My neck bothers me somewhat from the crash, since i was turning my head when i got hit. I can't really drive the car much until it is fixed, since the alignment was thrown off, and driving too much would chew up my snow tires.
