Thats correct. 1 oil change = 2 filters.
I was talking in miles...see my posts above. I specified in miles.

Mobil1 always ranks higher than Valvoline in just about every test that I've ever seen. However, if you're looking for the best and a pure synthetic, Amsoil will beat them all out and the cost comes to about the same if you look at how long you can keep Amsoil in your engine without it breaking down. I've heard a lot of times that Mobile is is nothing more than a hack synthetic and not fully synthetic.

they are virtually identical oil chemistry, you can use either one the same way and nothing better or different will happen

I run Mobil 1 0W30 Advanced Fuel Economy with Mobil oil filter (MB-102...I think) and am really pleased with the oil, I plan on using it until I sell the car.
