New 97 Es300 Owner Help ON lowering Springs
Hi first of all i finally got a Lexus. I have heard about Club Lexus from my friend and i find this forum really helpful.
Okay my1st question is do the 97 Camry have the same spring as the 97 es300?
My 2nd one is that i found a set on ebay and i was wondering if these would fit the 97 Es300 THE LINK

Hi DixonPai, congrats on your first Lexus. Regarding the springs, I think it's been answered before somewhere on this forum (but I may be wrong). Have you done a search for springs at all?

Welcome to CL and the ES forum!
Just about anything that works on a certain year(s) Camry with a V6 will work on the ES of the same year.
The vendor is making a bold "blanket" fitment claim across generations. That, plus the lack of differentiation for 4-cylinder and/or 6-cylinder fitment, gives me pause. You might ask the vendor if his springs work for a 6-cylinder. If he/she says "yes" I would still be very cautious and scrutinize the return policies.
I would feel far more comfortable with going with a known brand like TRD, Eibach, H&R, etc. and from a known vendor (preferably one associated with CL).
Good luck and PLEASE update this thread letting us know what you picked and include some before/after pics.

I went with Vogtland's and am pretty happy with them. I say pretty because 1/3 of me misses the ride of the stock springs. Sure it may look better lowered, and corner better (not that I really hit corners hard in a FWD car) and the ride isn't bad...BUT it's not the same Lexus ride I had when I bought it.

+1!!
I've even recently pondered returning mine to stock, especially now that I've got my SC on Tein CS coilovers.
But I just got a deal I couldn't refuse on 3rdElements' KSports, so I'll be installing them soon, hopefully this weekend. I'm thinking these coilovers have GOT to ride better than my KYB GR-2 struts and H&R springs. If not, I'll sport the KSports for a while until I feel I got my money out of them and then go back to stock.

Thank you
I asked the vendor and waiting for a response.
Since I did just get the car I do not have that much money left.
So I was just looking for somthing cheap but good
and I figured tenzo could not be that bad
I will take some pictures soon when I have the time.

So I haven't been putting in more than more 2 cents worth in that I used to but I have to say something here Plus I missed you guys. Yes anything will work of the camry 6 cylinder platform like Slooooooow said actually anything he says is normally dead on. I have kyb gr2 stuts for a camry and tein s-tech springs from a solara and I love them. But it retrospect I should have went with coilovers.

Here's a thread by our cousins over on the counterpart Gen 3/4 Camry forum on ToyotaNation, where they're asking for information about, and pictures involving Tenzo springs.
Hope it helps. Nice looking Camry in that first pic.
