i just got the strut bar, what i did was have someone tighten the bolts as i knelt on the radiator support and press down in the center as hard as i could. putting tension on the bar. (possibly giving me like .001 degree of camber)

i found this helpful in explaining what a strut bar did to someone... http://www.e30m3project.com/e30m3per...bar_theory.htm

So the hood shuts normally and there no buldge on your hood cause I had to bend mine to fit good.

the hood shuts if i drop it from maybe 10 inches up. when i close it, the safety latch catches no problem, when i first put it on there, even the safety latch was taking quite some force.

I didnt want to bend it, but its flexed right now. basically didnt wanna put it on the ground and scratch it trying to bend it.

the bulge is minimal, its there, but the hood is higher than the fenders by maybe 1mm if that. and the bar is 1-1.5 inches above the intake plenum.

i'll have pics up soon.
