Post It Might Be My Transmission

Hey cl members, I actually have two problems. My first problem is that when I turn on my overdrive in my '94 es300 the overdrive light on the dash starts to blink on and off, until i decide to turn it off. My second problem is that my car begins to shift kinda hard when I press the accelerated petal only after I stop. This happened one time before and I found out it was my motor mount. I think it might be my transmission. Sometimes the tachometer just keep going higher until I take my foot off the pedal, I dont have a warranty. My car has just hit 200k miles do anyone know the necessary procedures I should take to ensure I will have my lexus for years to come. If anyone can help this will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Worn transmission...any engine check codes?
I would say you need a rebuilt transmission.

If your transmission just belong to slip, how long do i have to drive it before it permanently goes for dead?

Its impossible to give you 'x time' or 'x miles' i suggest you get it looked at asap. in short the longer you drive around as is, the more:
1. damage can be had
2. worse condition of tranny
3. bigger $$ to fix due to negligence of said problem
