Funny thing! I have H&R's 1 inch drop and I was planning on buying some Tokico shocks also. I'm actually debating weather to buy Tokico or B+G coilovers but I've never heard of B+G suspension and I've asked all the import stores in my area and none of them have heard of them except for one store and he said they suck but everyone here says its good. I guess I need help on deciding which one to get.

Wink

I have tokico preformance struts on my 93 ES, they are fine,
I drive downtown alot the roads are not good, but the car
reacts well. ES300 92-96 front part number HZ3138, Rear
HZ3139 (sealed)

As soon as I get back my income tax, I will insall B+G suspension
lowering springs. They drop the Lex. 40MM, thats 1.6". These springs are not stiff, there some what soft, so the ride stays soft.
Remember the ES is not a sport car, So you may want to keep the ride some what soft. Get H&R springs if you want a stiff ride.

B+G part number 92-96 ES- -46-1-003 LEXUS ES 300 1992-1996 40MM

Default 1" Drop Springs

The Tokico's are gonna be stiff. I have the 1" H&R's not yet installed but I hear the ride is stern not stiff on the 1" drop. There is a article at Tirerack.com on a comparison between the Eibach and the H&R's.
You might want to increase your profile to 215/50. You have the clearance and you may not need the 1.6" drop cause you wont see so much wheel well. I have 215/50 ZR17's on mine (97 ES 300). The Camry shocks are not the same as the Lexus. Checked at the dealer they are dampened different.
Soon as I get mine Dropped the 1" I'll post the pic.

Thumbs up The H&R 1" drop on the 97 ES Picture

This is my 97 ES300...with the 1" drop H&R sport springs on it.
It is giving me the look I wanted, I didn't want that " fender riding on the tire look". So this suit me fine. I love it. Its subtle yet effective.
And the ride when driving normal is unchanged!
But when U ask it to take care of business the H&R's make it handle and perform the way you always wished it could with the stock.....The H&R's are the answers to my suspension prayers....
and I'm talkin some serious hard drivin testin um' out......
120MPH bobbin and weavin through mild traffic with 2 of my VW Jetta VR6 tuned friends equipped with 1.2" Eibach Sport Springs and a number of other mods, My ES was stickin 2 them.....
All I have to say is I dont know if you dropped it yet but how ever low you decide to go....JUST DO IT...The ES is beggin for it!!!!
