Default installing new head unit, amp and sub - neeeed help so bad

ok soo i set out on a mission to install my new head unit, a new 2channel amp to power my sub in the boot of my 1993 es300
ive bypassed the amp already, did pop test on all the speakers and they all work

but--i cant get any power to the head unit...and i also think the amp
i used a voltmeter on all the wires in the dash, after cutting them away from the factory harness, and got nothing on any of them
ive checked every fuse in the car, as well as in the cd player and they are all fine
so now my car is sitting in the driveway pulled apart and silent...please can someone help me get power to it i have nooo idea what ive done wrong!
thanks heeeaps

To get power to a headunit you just need to have a the black(negative) wire connected, the red(positive) wire, and the yellow(constant) wire.. Hope that helps.

haha yer i know that one
the problem was i could not find a constant power source, but i just found one from the factory amp harness, and the amp also has power - now tho....a very new problem just clicked to me- i have no acc power wire...
so again no power to the head unit
this is proving alot more difficult than i thought...ha
any ideas on wat i can do about acc/ignition power??

Generally speaking you should be able to get that from the harness. There should in all circumstances, have a power, constant and negative. Make sure the ignition key is set to ACC and then test with your multimeter, it should be on the harness.

yer thats exactly what i told myself, an my dad who is an electrician...makes sense right, he didn't believe me so came out with his multimeter
and together we tested every wire behind that cd player! not a single one had acc power or constant power, i can new wire from the amp, which i found out is actually acc power...
now i just need constant power - ive given up on looking because my car doesn't seem to be like any other es300 described on the net and it's killing me, so im going today to buy new power wire and hook it directly to the battery terminal.
do i need to put an inline fuse in this or will the fuse in the head unit be enough?>?

Talking

ok soooo
on my own haha, i did it
got the head unit in, ran all new speaker wire to all the speakers-have the tweeters and door speakers running off same channel tho, which stil sounds really good - but makes the connectors a bit tight so i might actually take the tweeters out soon, when i buy new door speakers..broke atm so not soon haha
got the sub going to-its insane...alooot more bassier than i thought, with myhead unit i have the sub turned to -3 with loudness at 0 and its still extremly punchy haha
its a 12" mtx thunder in mtx sledgehammer box with rockford fosgate punch 2channel amp bridged to run just the sub
headunit well and truly looks like a professionally done job, so happy with it

I have the same subs in my LS. Goodness those things can kick a mule in the rear if you don't watch them.
