did you install the HID kit in the stock reflector setup? or do you have the OEM HID housings?

Did you have to drill the ballast to anything, where did you put it and do you have to connect it to the battery?

You may want to check out this brief thread:

Careful about getting a ticket! Seems 8000 may be too bright.

you got high beamed cause you were blinding them with your reflectors... guess that answers my question

you moron, theyre not highbeaming you to say nice job on the hids.
theyre highbeaming you because youre blinding them. this is the reason why hid kits were banned, because people were using them for city driving.
from the pics i can see crazy glare. you really should research into it. idk why all the other people are patting you on the back for something that is extremely dangerous to oncoming drivers.
so just remember, if some opposing traffic gets in a stupid crash of some sort, dont think you caused it because they were checking out how " jdm tizight awesome" your hids are, they probably got into the accident because in their normal peripheral view, they have this extremely bright light shining in there eyes, making them have to refocus their vision, but itll all be too late when they crash.

+1 for Charley.
The "brightness" I see in the pics is actually glare being thrown out in every direction.

I heard if you aim your headlights a certain way, it won't blind oncoming drivers, might want to try that before you get pulled over

I think the only way to MAYBE avoid so much glare being thrown by the HIDs in those non-HID reflector housings would be to aim them as low as they will go (like straight down) but he wouldn't be able to see anything at night that way. I would at the very least swap out those 8000K bulbs ASAP for some 4300K which produce much less glare.
