8" inch subwoofer upgrade GEN 3
Has anybody here upgraded there stock 8 inch sub in there gen 3? The one in mine pops when I put the bass half way and might need replacing, but I want to replace it with a better one that will fit right where the stock one is and plug right up to the stock wires. Any idea

I going to bump this thread I need some help in this department and found a 8inch JL sub on ebay that might work heres the link and let me know guys

Yes, the fosgate is the 8 inch sub I was talking about. My OEM sub was destroyed when I bought the car so I replaced it with this one, but I think that a aftermarket sub would sound better than OEM. Yes, its plug and play

free air subs will never sound as good as a enclosed sub. while looking for sub make sure its for free air use, or it will sound really bad. you should invest in some real subs if you want bass.
