My '96 ES 300 has pretty much no shock absorption at all in the rear. I want to replace the struts, but I don't see how you get at the top of the strut in the rear. I assume there is a bolt up there holding the top of the struts on, but I don't see how to get at it? Are there any online guides or instructions that I could check?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hmmm... I just found this article that covers '97 and forward ES 300 strut replacement:

Looks like you have to disassemble the interior... last time I did shocks was on a '73 Monte Carlo, it was way simpler![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'll have to yank out the rear seat and check it out. Has anybody done this? Hopefully the procedure is similar to what's listed in the above article.
