hey everyone
my 2003 ES has an inoperative CD player that keeps reading an ERROR3 code, and i assume it must be replaced...im looking into getting a replacement unit or at least a fit kit to make and aftermarket unit work since the damn radio is combined with the clock and vents
does anyone know where i could buy a used/working/refurbished oem radio unit or a fit kit so i could get an aftermarket radio?
any help is great

Have you tried cleaning the CD player? Get a CD cleaning disc from Best Buy and try it first before shelling out for a new system.

 

Oh no, is it under warranty? You just got the car, I think you need to tell the dealer and Lexus should give you a new radio.

 

I had a similar problem on a BMW that I used to own. I bought a CD cleaning kit and it worked perfectly after cleaning.
