Brake Fluid leak mess!
I noticed some streaking around the tires for the past couple of days, but tonight i noticed the paint on the driver side front rim was peeling off
There's a leak in the brake line or somewhere on the assembly...
Does brake fluid ruin the tire? Its probably been soaking in brake fluid for at least a week.

ouch! thats no good!
looks like you might have a leak in the rubber brake line....
thank god its only that....rubber brake lines are super easy to replace, but just make sure the system gets properly bled after the line is replaced...
sucks about your wheel tho...there are mobile companies that do wheel touch ups tho...i need one to fix the right rear wheel on my ES3 from where my sister hit a curb when she borrowed it

im sure of it...people still use snow chains?
snow chains FTL....theyre a TOTAL NO-NO on newer cars...
as a toyota tech ive seen those ****ers tear up brake lines and rip abs wheel speed sensors out of their housings...they do more harm than good

Just for general info, the brake lines are not rubber, they are steel braid over synthetic rubber, covered with synthetic rubber...but irrespective of the construction, if they are leaking they defineately should be replaced, My right rear one did not leak, but suddenly ruptered....wow! no braks..... fortunately no accident ensued. Get em fixed

it appears the hose is messed up, or maybe the banjo bolt that connects it to the rear of caliper is not tight/leaking from that point.
this is a massive safety issue, make sure your master cylinder is full before you drive.. if you drive ... it to the dealer. best safety advice is have it towed to car repair shop and tell them your symptoms and let them tell you what needs to be fixed.
your tire is probably ok, though brake fluid does seems to affect tires after a long exposure... i would clean the tire if the repair shop doesn't. make sure the body is clean too as any brake fluid that got on the body paint [you might not be able to see where it was on there] will hurt hte paint big time. clean it several times cause as you can imagine the brake fluid may have gone airborn and slipstreamed along the side of your car.
glad to hear youre still with us tuan!
