tight crankshaft bolt ..need help

What happens - does the starter stall?? I would suggest a long box end wrench - make sure it doesn't slip off.

my starter work fine .. nothing wrong with my starter .. also i got a 4 ft pipe with my breaker bar too .but the bolt is so tight that it just like welded to the crankshaft ... i try it like 30 - 40 times today ...

then you will need to escalate this, use a torch on the bolt and prepare to replace the bolt and the crank pulley

You realize that if he pulled with 50 pounds of force, that would be 400 ft/lbs of force! Maybe it IS welded!!

well rust shows up between bolt head and surface and or the rust is in the threads, it creates a bond and a lot of friction. you heat that ..... up and you will see that you can get it out

yea i guess i need to torch it then .... hope that bolt will break loose ..... too bad can't do it today .. gotta work ...have to wait till sunday and try again ......thx everyone for giving me opinions again . . will update soon u guys r the best

Did you try any penetrating oil?
