Honestly, those things never really get my attention, it's crap. Suggest a true intake system for your car like Weapon R for example.

Actually, it's the fan off a leaf blower with a 12v electric motor on it.

You'd get the same results by sticking a PC fan in your intake tube. Since it's just a 12V blower it only runs on one speed, you'll get the same air at idle as you do WOT. This just screams disaster, but if anyone has the $200+ laying around give it a try.

Those stupid things act more as a wind block than an actual booster. I believe my friend tried this on his Hyundai and he LOST 3 hp. Not to mention is sounds really really stupid. Imagine a hair dryer inside of your engine. So not cool.

However, if you have a really strong alternator, you can probably effectively use a heavy duty leaf blower with a variable throttle in conjunction with your gas pedal to jump your car about 20-30 hp depending if your injectors can take it. Some guy did this to his S10 and jumped it from something like 180 hp to 225. But his car was on a dyno and the leaf blower was plugged in.

Compressors compress, blowers blow, not that hard. That POS, is indeed, a blower.

.....

few problems with this.
1. are u serious? its like asking if the temperature chips that add 50 hp really work.
2. what REAL vendor uses geocities? i mean if u cant afford to buy a real domain with your own address whats the point?
3. an ELECTRIC turbo? just hook up a 120mph leaf blower to a pipe that leads to your intake and just turn it on when u want the extra power.

there actually is an electric super charger for cars. its good. it works in short runs [you turn it on when needed] because of the power it consumes. its it worth while? I think the best isthe turbocharger. and nearly all ''electric supercharger'' are rip off crap

....rubbish
pure rubbish...

turbo works off exhuast gases
this POS however is an air compressor attached to a 12V power source that acts like a leaf blower or fan adding air into your intake...its bogus rubbish

save your money and buy a nice intake brotha
CP-E makes a nice MAFci tunable intake for the newer VVTi 1mz (2002-2006) and the non-VVTi 1mz (1994-1998) that is good for 10hp
