I had a humming noise coming from the rear of my 03 ES 300 that would occur around 60-70 mph. It sounded like it was coming form the rear and would worsen as I steered right and lessen as I steered left. So I figured it was the right rear wheel bearing. I found a place that sells all-american made bearing assemblies (http://mibearings.com/). OEM was Koyo and only lasted 65k miles. I put my dial gauge on it and it was on the edge of the spec so I decided to replace it anyway. Only took about 2 hrs. Problem solved !

I thought you might have taught it the words! Mine hums at around 60-70 also, today I spun the wheels bud didn't feel anyhing. Did you need a bearing press, or can you knock them out by hand? I think I'll replace mine.
