I read so many posts about solara strut bars not having enough clearance that i decided to go with the cheap Ebay ones.. is this a bad decision? i dont really care quality wise... i just dont want to have to mess with clearance issues. OH yea... and all i could find on ebay were for 4 cylinder camrys... will this work or does it have to be for v6 for it to work with my 1998 es? i tried searching for this but didnt find anything very clear for a 98.

I have the solora strut bar on my 99 ES300 right now. It was fairly easy to put on and to clear the hood. You only have to bolt it on first then press on the center of the bar with a little pressure and it will clear.

haha is it really that easy to bend it?

oh and if a strut bar fits a 4 cyl 98 camry will it fit my 98 es300?

I am not sure about the 4cyl question but I would guess it wouldn't fit. It is pretty easy to bend. If not then get a hammer and soft rag and hit it.
