As the title says, I went through a dip in the road a bit fast and the car bottomed out, but since then the speakers have been crackling a lot through the radio only. I checked when the CD player is playing, and there is no crackling, so I have narrowed it down to the radio. I think it's the antenna signal, but I havn't been able to narrow down the location of the problem.
After taking out the OEM head-unit to inspect, I didn't see any wires loose, and put it back. It's such a pain to pull out the head-unit. But after going to the rear where the antenna is, I couldn't see anything really missing either.
It's as if a wire for the signal has come loose, and keeps crackling on and off at random times, but really really loud. When this happens, the radio sound also deviates from speaker to speaker which is more annoying.

Does your have the antenna in the rear window, or is it a separate antenna? If separate, check to make sure the antenna wire didn't come out of it in the trunk.

There was a wire that was sticky taped to another which ran to the antenna (which is separate, not in the rear window) and it looked like the antenna wire, but for some reason i didn't really think it was because it was taped tight and wasn't anywhere near the antenna. It had a metal piece on the end and was circular. I should take a picture of it. But it did look a lot like a piece that would go into the back of a tv antenna or radio antenna port. The crackling is just soo annoying.
