2001 ES300 headlights
I have two levels inside of my engine bay. They are situated on top of the headlights. I assume that this tells me how level my headlights are, but they are off.
How do I adjust them? Also, I've been told that these could indicate how level my engine is in the car. Is this true as well?
Thank you.

You adjust the horizontal via a long phillips screwdriver - there is an arrow and a gauge and adjust until the arrow is pointing to 0. Then adjust the 8mm bolt at the top to bring the bubble in the level to the zero position.
Here's the FSM excerpt attached.
They don't mention the dial adjustment for horizontal - can't remember where I saw that, maybe on the replacement headlights I ordered - will look tonight.

HOWEVER - even though the bubble level method would seem to be bulletproof - I find the headlights aim too high! I am going to have to bring mine down a notch or two!
