Keep your panties on, I don't have a garage so before I go taking parts off I need to make sure its do-a-able...anything possible but how they did it is the question...ya you can cut and make a new bracket but that's work that needs to be done somewhere other then a carport...

 

I was going to ignore you from here on out, but I'd one bolt per side and a couple clips/screws for the undercover to gain access is too hard, I suggest not trying at all. People have done engine swaps in their backyards, don't be giving an for excuse for not pulling two dinky fogs out...

 

Key word, people.....besides I've done crazy hard stuff on my BMW but this isn't just a screw and a bolt...I don't get your point, you've just seen pics of others cars but you don't know exactly what they did...maybe they had to cut the bumper or rig a new bracket...from trying to put it in the bumper it wouldn't work unless you cut a little...
