Changing the plugs on a 93 is not all that hard. Get a set of metric allen wreches to remove the plastic cover over the front bank. With the cover removed you should have no problems changing the front plugs. For the rear plugs, you can change them without removing the intake plenum by reaching around the side. Make sure that you have several different extensions for you spark plug socket, (like 1, 2, 3 inch extenstions) cause it will be a pain in the butt.
If you remove the plenum, you might as well take this oportunity to clean the idle control valve, and throttle body. Just be ready to replace some of the hoses, cause they are going to be brittle, some will break.
As far as plugs go, you will hear many different opinions on them. Any brand you will find people that swear by them, or at them. Take you pick. I use bosch, many people hate them.
whichever brand you decide on, check the gap before you install them.
