96 lexus es 300 trunk switch wont open.

Out of no where, the button to open my trunk just stop functioning. Any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this problem anyone. Thanks

Do you have a trunk button lock-out switch in your glove box? If so, Press that, then try the button.

Wow thanks a million, I just checked that out and it solved my problem. I always wonder what the button was for, now I know.

JSM1284 THANKS ALOT!!! I just got a es300 for the kid and I did not know about the disable button .I just went out and fixed the switch. Thanks again...Sumo
