93 es300, remove radio faceplate?
The volume/on **** seems to be broken on my radio, so I'll have to take it apart and see if I can fix it. I need to remove the faceplate to get to it though, will I have to remove the whole radio to get it off?
And unrelated question, will I have to leave the factory amp plugged in to use the factory head unit with an aftermarket amp? I read some post somewhere that said to leave it in, I'm guessing because the head unit will not work right without it.

Hi, yeah you will need to get the head unit out of the centre console to take off the faceplate. But you don't even need to take the faceplate off to get the volume control off. It will come off with a bit of force.
Probably best to leave the original amp in if you are leaving the stock head unit.

The volume assembly it broken. I can't turn it up or on, I'm just hoping i can fix it without too much trouble.
So does the factory amp need a power signal wire? Will I be able to fit a 4 channel amp and factory amp under the front seats?
