Hey guys, in serious need of some help, i was on the site the other day and i say a thread for DIY side mirror turn signal LED project, but stupidly i did not subscribe to the thread or add it to my favorite, i've tried searching for 3+ hours and yet no luck, has anyone seen such a thread here on CL? it is for a 2nd Gen (97 Es300), if anyone has the information please post it in this thread or PM (would be really helpful).

or even if you don;t have the link, would anyone know the wiring to do it?

I have super BLUE led signals on mine 00 ES , installed em like 2 months ago, luvin em, also have super BLUE front corner signals aka parking lights, I kinda figured they be illegal because law states that u cant have blue (a tint of blue would be okay tho) in the front , only for the law inforcement etc... but so far havent got pulled over. Will post a video and thread for my intro.

any turn signal mirrors or mods for a 2gen(93), i dont want sticky tape crap.

Drill holes for your LEDs to poke through, silicone the inside of the housing behind each LED to try to keep as much water out as possible, then tap into your turn signal wiring

You said u need to replace Urs, Why? Did they burn out? How long have u had it? Can u take a pic of them in the daylight?

Well I had these for more than I year I can imagine. So I had them to a switch (amber/blue) by push of button, and the last time i took them out to repaint the side mirror due to the paint had been worn down and chipped, so i mixed the wiring. Just kept it amber for now due to restrictions until I redo them. I will need to draw schematics wiring to help more, even I get confused at time since I didn't label the wires.

Plans: Rewire side mirror signals, and the corner lights to change colors also.

Note: 1st time install was a breeze, worked perfect. Maybe I just have so much wiring under my hood. Remote starter (pending), talking alarm, amp, and strobes.

Can you take pics of them on the car during daylight. Also how durable is it since its on the outside of the car?
