this morning my 02 es300 had trouble starting... remote start the car and i heard ticking sound and tried to start it with a key and it had hard time starting... i don't know if it's my battery, alternator, or starter. my battery was jumped few days ago because i left my light on night before. but never had issues since...

you need to take the car to a place that will check the charging system.
there they will check all those things
advance auto parts does it for free
if I had to guess, I would say for sure that your battery needs to be replaced, and your alternator may taken a beating based on your foolish use of a discharged, and worn out battery.
and that's the truth

if you try to start the car and you keep hearing a click sound then the starter is going
I changed my starter last month because I had trouble starting the car every morning. I would hear the clicking sound but my car wouldnot turn over until maybe 10 minutes of trying. After changing the starter no more clicking sounds and car starts on first try.
I drive a 98 es300 with 119k

One quick test for the starter is to give it a couple good raps with a large prybar or other large tool. But as IIcoolpass suggests, take it down to a autoparts store and ask them to check out the charging system. Most will do it for free. Granted this is a basic test, but it will give you a good starting point to determine the next step. Take advantage of this, keep in mind that it is never 100%

I agree w llcoolpass. Start where the problem started-battery. Next check the alternator, especially if the battery tests ok, but also if it tests bad. The starter is the last thing I'd suspect, unless you've had that clicking syndrome before the battery died, in which case disregard what I wrote above and check the starter motor first.

It should be your battery or loose connection. if you starter is clicking that means the solenoid is trying to start it but not enough power from the battery. best way to check is to try n jump start the car and if it starts up like nothing then its your battery and maybe your alternator got burnt out thats why its not charging the battery. If it doesn't then it should be the starter. my guess is its your battery.
