Default late shifting 93 es300

My car shifts too late when it's warming up. I've tried adjusting that cable on the TB but it doesn't make it more tense or anything. I know it's supposed to shift later while warming up, but it's uncomfortably late and hard, and pretty annoying for brief drives. I saw some TSB (TC95-004) about adjusting a screw in the tranny for the accumulator to alleviate hard shifts. Might this be applicable to me?

Ok, so it shifts at, say 5500 under normal acceleration? You need to give all the info if you need help.

3000 RPM uncomfortable, hard shifts are normal? I would think high RPM shifts would be bad for the tranny. Have you had it since new? Is there any way to alter this behavior?

Check the condition of the tranny fluid. I think it has a planetary gear set problem. Which means, new tranny.

I had it flushed not too long ago, so fluid is ok. However, they said the differential was overfull.
I watched the technician carefully fill the tranny to full on the dipstick, and now it shows that it's overfull.
