I would also spray the system with vent cleaner or lysol to kill any mold in there. I spray through the vents under the hood, the cabin vents and into the filter housing while you have the filter out.
Where do you spray under the hood..

I "m not sure where the blower motor is but I suspect the fan could be covered with mold and gunk, hopefully this application lasts longer.
Can ou post some pics if you can? I just sprayed the center and driver vents about 15 min. ago.. How do you pop off the vents? Any other place where i should spray besides the vents?

For some reason my radio is not working. ITs on but no sound coming from speakers? Any ideas?

Thanks

Tony

also, because the fan blower sits on the passenger side, it picks up any smell around that area. for example, i would place like those frabic softners right at the foot well and it smells good.

1 year can make a lot of difference, depending on your use of recirculating the vent or taking air from the outside.
Thats makes so much sense. I set a large paper bag full of bad shrimp fried rice (i didnt know the shrimp was old until i tried to eat it later that afternoon) in the passenger side floor and ran the a/c for about an hour and a half. For about a week or two afterwards, every time i turned my fan on that *****ty smell came back. It died down after about 3 weeks but even now it still smells some when the fan is on and that was about 2 months ago. Now I have an idea why and what I need to do. Its kinda hard to explain to a girl why your car smells like fishnutts when you turn the air on. Thanx fellas...
