Default Variable valve timing

I have a 2000 Lexus ES 300 and want to know how and if my car has variable valve timing and how can you tell

I think it's the 03's that has the VVT-I.

Yes, you have VVTi. Open your hood and look at the engine cover.

yes it has VVTi....it started appearing on 99 model ES300's.

easiest way to tell is pop the hood and read the engine cover...
