Question New Wheels *2000 ES300*

I've narrowed it down to these 3 wheel designs (18"). Which model do you guys/gals think will look best? My car is Mineral Green by the way.

*5Zigen ZR+*

*MB Motoring CLS*

*TSW Croft*

Here is some advice, feel free to take for what its worth. But cars need one of two rims. Especially these cars!

Simple, 'few' spoke wheels [so like 5-7max] without 'lip or dish'.

OR

The need a 'mesh wheel' like above WITH a 'lip or dish' otherwise, well they don't look as good.

here was mine last year:

And here is this year [as you can see, keeping with my rule:

Don't believe me? Here is another fine example of this rule:

So as you can see, mesh NEED lip, a basic/simple clean style [ie. less busy] do not require it!

With that said, i would personally go for:
*MB Motoring CLS*

Let us know of the result

Thanks for the advice Mike.

It's tough picking wheels for this car. I'm leaning more towards the Croft or ZR+ Im going to attempt a photoshop sometime soon.

I'm a fan of the MB Motoring ones. Kinda have a VIP-esque style to them.

Yyyyyeah, not so much with this one, mainly due to size, as its owner will tell you.
So as you can see, mesh NEED lip, a basic/simple clean style [ie. less busy] do not require it!

haha, yea.. my wheels look nice but they are huge.. i appreciate it though

my new wheels are coming in a couple of days. I got some nice lightweight kosei k1 ts 17's.. dropped 1.5 grand on new wheels and tires. oh well, thats not too bad considering how light weight these new wheels are and will help my unsprung weight a lot.

and btw out of those i would go with the crofts.. they are nice.. but maybe 01LEXPL's rule really does work for es300s which means the crofts wouldn't work.. oh well I don't really know what im saying :P

i used to be a regular 5-spoke kind of guy but i'm really start to like the mesh bbs style wheels on the ES.

after i drop my car i'm going to get something similar to the TSWs.

Amen! Due to its simple elegance in design, the ES deserves something dressy, e.g. meshness, or sometime simple, e.g. simple spokage. She's a luxurious dresser. If you can sneak in the performance without blowing the simple elegance, have at it.

IMHO, the hottest ESs in the "Hot ES/Windom" picture thread typically don't have wheels that distract from the lines; they compliment the lines.

So nice to see folks recognizin'.
