Not that any of you will really care.....

OK... First off I got to say I admire anybody with the skills time to do this type of work on a car but maybe I'm missing something but why not just put a good Camry front on the Camry ?

Or just buy an ES300. Sorry but the back end of a Camry looks well, I guess only a mother could love it, when put together with an ES front. Blur the lines even further, so that everyone always thinks a Lexus is a glorified Toyota.

^ The ES300 is Heavier, more electronics, and rear seats don't fold. The lines between the 2 line up perfect, so what you say really doesn't make sense.
It;s ignorant comments like this that I don;t even bother to post on CL about my car too much. So unless you have something productive to say, try not to post.

ASG14: Don't get all bothered. I'm just asking. It does seem a bit odd of a job. I just don't see the payback. Like I said, I admire and I am a bit jealous of those that have the skills. Keep at it and keep posting.....

I don't get why everyone just has to **** on the guy.....if you think its bad taste and don't like it then keep your mouth shut honestly. Not everyone is happy with just rims and a drop as you all are. Its certainly unconventional but its unique as hell and he did an excellent job, especially considering Adam has no formal training or certifications. He did all the work himself and i'm betting money most of you cant even change your own oil.

Great job on your car. I always have to admire someone that is willing to go off the beaten path to achieve something they want. you are enough of a realist to see the issues with what you are trying to achieve, and thought outside the box. It would probably looked horrendous if you had tried to beat the es300 fender to match the shape without the hybrid solution you came up with. I seriously hope you get things sorted out exactly how you hope to, and look forward to watching the progress.
