2001 es 300 with 120000 km on it. Was driving today and both of the lights came on suddenly at the same time. Can't feel/tell that anything is wrong. Checked oil and atf fluids both are fine.

What could this be and what is the best way to find out? Will the lexus dealer tell me what it is for free? Or will they charge me $ 500 just to plug it in?

I think Candian Tire reads the codes for free. Lexus will charge 1 hour labor to spend 2 minutes to read the code.

 

Just got o any independent shop and have the plug it in and check the codes...don't worry so long as it's not flashing it should be ok to drive. TRAC lights comes on if CEL goes off...just how Toyota designed it

 

just called Canadian Tire, they charge 100 bucks to check it.
