Where can i get these LED Bulbs for a 1999 ES300???? Im new to this club because i just bought my lexus last month with 61,000 miles on it and i would like to upgrade it a bit! What will i need to completely convert over to LED in the interior? Also, is there a HID conversion kit for this cars headlights and fog lights??

First, welcome to ClubLexus!

You can find most of this information with just a bit of searching and reading. On the first page of this thread, there is a link posted where you can find the required LED bulbs, as well as a very detailed list and how-to with pics on how to go about installing everything. I've used this seller before and he is highly recommended.

Yes, there are many HID conversion kits available though there are many choices such as color temp and quality (Price!) of kits. There are lots of simple plug-and-play kits available in the vendor forums; you will need a H7 kit for the low beams and a H3 kit for the fogs.

PS. Awesome writeup to 01LEXPL!

Being in Canada, I had the same dilemma purchasing from the US. So for any interested Canadian, I purchased my License Plate LED's from the following source in Toronto, and had it shipped to Montreal. All went well. His web site gives an LED application guide for each specific vehicle.

The guy there seems to be knowledgeable, and promptly answered all of my questions via email.

This isnt the first time Ive retrofitted LED's into car... Yesterday attempted to install my first LED replacing my trunk light. Its the same as the ES300. The fit wasnt perfect and on my second attempt to squeeze the bulb in I blew my 7.5 dome fuse. This also disabled my key fob so I have to manually lock my doors/trunk. Has anyone experienced this ? I know I have an Avalon but we're close enough cousins...

Im thinking replace the fuse and disconnect the battery and it might work ??

Yes, I blew the 7.5 amp dome fuse when I was changing the LED's for my vanity lights. My keyless entry, clock, dome, map, and vanity lights didn't work. Just replace the fuse and you'll be fine.

Is it just me or did the tutorial vanish? It doesn't seem to come up on any computers I use...
