I guess it's expected in a 10 year old car...
Sway bar bushings were worn out, so I had them replaced, as well as re-torqued bolts and such around the suspension. Now, the car is tight as ever in the past 5-years.
However, now I can hear all the creaks and squeaks, from the front to the back, over small bumps and along sharp turns.
Can anyone recommend fixes for any of the weak spot along the ES3's body and frame? Will a Solara OEM strut bar reduce some of the flexing going on and causing additional noise?
Thanks

When you torqued everything down, was the car on stands, or were the wheels on the ground? When tightening suspension bushings, the suspension needs to be loaded, or else the bushings not have correct preload.

those are good suggestions. i was there the whole time they were working on it and most of the time i saw it, the car was on the lift.... that could explain some of the non-sense noises...
it's too bad, 'cause the car feels SO much better... it's just that damn noise!

Was the car on a four post lift (where the car sits on all tires) or a two post (where two arms from each post lift the car, and all four tires are free spinning). If it was on a two post, and they tightened everything, then they did it wrong! Suspension bushings should be tightened only when the components are at normal ride height, which means the full weight of the car must be on them.
