Default Help with 1995 ES300 cabin air filter change

I think the filter is on the passenger side behind the glove box. I just can't figure out how to get it out and how difficult it will be. Does anyone have instructions or insight into this?

Last I knew, they didn't start till 1997. If they had them in 1996, I'd like to know, so I could swap that into my Camry.

95airfilter.pdf

Read this, it shows where the filter is located, and how to remove it.

Awesome! GEORGE_JET comes through again.

It doesn't specify in the document exactly where to find the cover for the cabin air filter. I'm guessing that it's on the passenger side behind the glove box. I think I remember reading that somewhere....

The cover is behind the center console (cupholder & ashtray). You have to access it from the driver's side footwell. It is a 2 piece filter. Once you pull the bottom one out, you have to reach up and pull down the upper one and then pull it out. It is not easy as space is limited in the driver's side footwell. I can't remember where, but here in CL there are instructions on how to do it.

I can attest that indeed the 1995 ES300 does have a cabin filter and that mine did not have one in it...
