Going Monchrome on a 97 ES
Hi Guys,
I just ordered a set of IS300 wheels for my white 97 ES. Next on the agenda is to redo the front and back bumpers as they have some dings etc.
It occured to me that if I wanted, I could simply have the entire bottom of the car painted white, ie remove the beige from the lower panels.
Questions: Has anyone done this on the site and if so, any pictures I can see? Also, your opinions would be appreciated.
Oh yes, last question: How does one go about blacking out the tailights?
thanks

^^ Its been done.
The member Choas has it done on his [iirc] 97 as well.
And there is one ES [iirc] on cardomain that is all white as well with smoked tails.
LOL.
So much for being original.

I've seen it done. I honestly like the contrast of the pearl white top and grayish-beigey bottom. Get some chrome wheels and titanium tint....
I use to have one, looked sweet. I have a gray one now.

Just realized you said you bought the IS wheels. Well, you could still do the titanium tint. Also, get some 6000-8000k HID headlights and yellow fogs or 3000k HID fogs. Looks excellent on the pearl white cars.
