Default 1997 ES300 Tranny Fluid Change

So I am the third owner of my car and have put about 10K miles on it, and it just dawned on me to check when the last time the transmission fluid was changed.

The book has entries up until 60K miles and that appears to be the last time it was changed (At 120K now). Timing belt apparently was done at 60K miles too oddly enough.

My first question is if there are any good write-ups on the procedure. I saw a nice writeup for a 2002 I believe, but I wasn't sure if the transmissions were different between the two years. I also searched and saw that flushing it could cause problems but just a normal drain would be good for it.

Secondly my friend highly recommends a local transmission repair shop that his "highly ethical" in his opinion, so I'm considering just taking it there. Could anybody give me a quick ball park quote as compared to just doing it myself.

Thanks everyone!
