No way am i reaching 2 of the back 3 spark plugs. '95 ES300
I read that some people managed to replace all 3 back plugs without removal of the intake manifold. I for the life of me couldnt begin to imagine how this is done. It took me an hour and a half to replace the passenger side back plug. (The front 3 i did in 10 mins of course)
Anyway, i wanted to change the plugs because i purchased the car with 100,000 miles, and it now has 150K. The plugs were platinum. I have no information on maintenance done prior to my purchase. I replaced the front 3, and the rear passenger side one. Below is what they look like. What are my options? I dont think i can DIY the other 2 and i dont want to remove the intake manifold. Can i leave the others in there? Suggestions please. As always, Thanks Alot!

Those are the original plugs there. I can tell by the ND logo that is not used anymore. Did you try reaching the back plugs from the back side of the engine? Don't try to reach through from the front. I used a plug socket, short extension, and a swivel head ratchet. I think I used a wobble extension to gain a little extra room. I have a 2000 ES though.

Those back plugs are B**** to get to. I had mine changed at 132,000 miles. The dealer forgot to change them at the 120,000 mile service. I tried doing them myself, but when I realized I couldnt get to them, I took the car to the dealer and had them do it. I already bought the plugs (NGK laser platninum OEM dual electrode), so I just payed the labor, which was 100.00.
