FX-R, amazing projectors. from what all the "pro's" say the tsx's are over rated, but still decent projectors without modification.

i just did it for 15 mins at 220 F

the lip is made from base coping or something like that. Home depot lip lol some of the forum goers dont like it.

Once i grow a set i will try and attempt this. In the mean time, must start looking for 3 series projectors! haha

nice, what lens are you using? stock fx? btw, what bezels are you using? and what method of mounting the bezels did you use?
i have a few sets of projectors, i just need some more money to finish off my setup.

to everyone, thank you for the kind words, except the hood not being aligned right! lol

the car was in an accident before i bought it. i did my best to fix it, i was unexpirenced with bondo when i was younger.

as for charley240's question, they are modified fx's if you look at the retrofit source's site, they are known as the FX-R's and the bezels/shrouds are E46-R's i had to trim the bottom, the shrouds are huge. they JUST fit in the reflector housing when put in there alone, but when you have to align it with the lens, they are a bit too low so you gotta trim the bottom. and for mounting. i used a little metal bracket that came from the top of the projector (that little flat spot on top) and bent down to hover just over the lens clip and used screws to hold it all. if i can get a picture, i will. i might need to adjust a few things.

actually you can see it in this picture, look at the top of the projector in the middle, you can see a black screw on the shroud, and a gold screw on the projector...
