if it has no airbags, good sign it was in an accident......also if the rear struts need to be changed, look at the rear tires for uneven wear. usually the tire will bounce going down the road instead of riding flat on the road.....you might need tires as well....

if it were me......i would find something else......

well he said the car was in a fender bender which bent the hood.. he got a new hood and bumper.. i checked car fax and it shows that but he did the work him self.. but did not get airbags ... idk about the struts bouncing or w/e but the tires were replaced 3 months ago there almost new.. idk thats a good price.. its under edmunds average value.

Look closely at the wear patterns on the tires, that will tell a lot about what shape the suspension is in. If there are strange patterns on the tires, or if it has new tires. FORGET IT. avoid the car cause it is not worth the risk.

^^ Seriously.

dude, you get it for 1500$, and now add about ~500$ for airbags just for even trying to get it re registered.

Now, strange how he put on new tires, seeing how the otehr probably had uneven wear due to a bad frame and/or misalignment. So now you have to get an alignment.

All-in all its not worth i can go on about this, seeing how i used to work in a collision center.

Keep looking, you can and will find a significantly better deal elsewhere.

A car like you described is good for one thing; scrap.
