I have a 92 ES 300
I've noticed that when I'm stuck in a traffic jam and I have the A/C on, after awhile the brake warning light above the gas gauge comes on. It stays on until I turn off the car, when I turn it over the warning light no longer appears. I've checked the brake lights while the warning light is on and they're fine.
It seems when it's really hot out and I've been idling in traffic is when this happens.
Has anyone ever had this before or knows what the problem could be?
Thank you for your help,

It's the Brake out light. I looked it up in the user manual and it's to warn you a brake light has burnt out, however they work just fine. Very weird.

It sounds like you replaced a bulb at one time and when you did the bulb you used was an incorrect type. I had a neighbor go through this and he actually found someone that understood what was going on. He replaced the bulb again with another type and no more problem.
