im in the process of doing the engine in my dad's 92 lexus es300 and one issue i ran into was removal of th half shaft.
After some research, I finally used PB blaster and sprayed both sides of the carrier bearing and used a pretty heavy brass hammer which took it right out.
just a little tip if any of you guys are replacing the 3vz-fe. book time is 18 hours and im already about 13 hours into it and i just bolted the new engine in![Egads!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif)
hopefully my next one will be a little faster and on a lift.
