My Mother went to the hospital and gave her belongings including her last master key. The hospital lost the key but has agreed to cover the cost of replacing it.
So, I nee have new keys made and ecu flashed or replaced.
Lexus will replace the ECU and have new keys cut, but the turn around is a about a week and the dealer is not very close to her house and the car needs to be towed.
There is a mobile service that will come to her house, flash ecu and cut keys same day.
Is having a mobile service flash an ecu a good idea? Should I have Lexus perform the service instead?
Thanks for any input.

I don't trust 3rd parties to work on my Lexus. I would get the dealer do it; especially if its on the hospitals dime. Make the hospital pay to have it towed to/from the dealer and for a rental car.
Then I would buy an extra key.
