Respectfully. There are dozens of these cars built out with stock blocks and 200-400whp with boost. The information is out there. This forum is one of the best for boosting these vehicles: https://solaraguy.com/viewforum.php?f=23&start=840.

Sir, I've also been around the block since the early 90's. My professional career requires me to aquire and integrate optimal solutions. I've been around for other platforms and i've done my homework on this one for over a year.

Here goes a hot thread in the site, where the top guy made 357whp with 14psi stock bottom end.

There are quite a few of others with stock bottom ends making 200whp-300whp.

There are electronics which allow you to tune the closed loop AF. Other electronics to allow aux fuel to be fired and controlled per level of boost. The same electronics will retard the timing up to 20 degrees. The pistons are a known weak spot, you can't detonate, but if you stay out of detonation, you are golden for these levels.

AEM makes a ECU replacement that plugs into the stock harness that allows even more control and as usual there are other stand alone ECU and piggy back devices. But these electronics allow enough control to get the goods.

1MZ is a solid engine it can take abuse that's the least of your worries. Custom work for pretty much everything is the challenge.
