If you do can someone do me a favor and take a picture from underneath it in your trunk so I can see whats positive and negative on the sub, I want to see how the red and black wire are soldered on the points of the sub. Thanks and hope someone can help me with this.

Ariyanna, why did you go back to the factory sub and HU? BTW, just want to say thanks on the link for the used OEM amp on ebay. I bought it and got it in two days and installed it this past weekend and works great with my aftermarket low wattage sub. Thanks bro.........

I went with a JL Audio 4 ohm sub from Crutchfield, rated at 35 - 100 RMS. I was able to install the amp you found on ebay and the JL sub, works great, didnt blow my amp this time. I also installed some Dynamat on the underside of the rear deck, from the trunk to clean up the bass and make it sound cleaner. Sorry to hear you had to sell your stuff.

What a waste of cash. First of all its in your head, don't lie to yourself. Second, simply doing the rear deck lid would yield no benefit to it, in order to have a super clean system you would have to do the entire trunk to quiet that down and insulate it. Last, the reason i am saying this, is because no matter what you do a free air sub, is a free air sub, it is not going to outperform a boxed unit any day... That's why i mean you should do the entire trunk as that plays as the 'box', not just one portion of it.
Regardless, if you got it for cheap, props, if not, sorry to hear you wasted you money on it...
