I have a 96 es300.One day i pressed my cd button on my radio and nothing happen.Later I tried to open the trunk with the driver trunk button and it didn't work either.Since my cd player wasn't working i tried using my fm transmitter in the cigar. lighter that also doesnt work.Can anyone tell me what could have caused these events to occur and their possible fixes.Any help is appreciated.

The Fix

The trunk was working.I must have accidentally hit the button that deactivated the driver door trunk switch which is located under the dash.

The cigarette lighter at the back wires got loose some how.

Cd player works when it wants too.

There is a fuse box to the left of the steering wheel on my '99 es, not sure about the '96, it's a little pull out storage tray, the fuses are behind them. When you pull the tray off look on the back to locate the Cig lighter fuse and radio fuse and replace them.
