CEL code p1155 help
Hey
I have a 2000 ES300 when diagnosed check engine light code p1155 popped up. I have been told differet answers as to which sensor this is, Does anyone know for sure what sensor location it is. I am pretty sure it is Bank 2 sensor 1but other places have it as bank 1 sensor 1. any help?

My information is a little ambiguous for the 2000, but going back to a 95 it is listed at bank2 sensor 1. By the format of this number, it is obviously one of the federally mandated codes, and as such cannot be changed by different manufactures.
Since it is bank 2 sensor 1, it will be very easy to measure the resistance of the heater (this is the one near the rad, and is the only one you can see when lift the hood and look at the engine). So I would suggest measuring the heater before you try to remove the sensor.

p1155 is Bank 2 Sensor 1. This is the easiest sensor to get at. You can see if when standing in front of the car, look down it is between the radiator and the engine block, in the exhaust pipe after the manifold but before the cat.
Codes P1130 to P1135 are Bank 1
Codes P1150 to P1155 are Bank 2.
