NST, have contacted me about the e-mail i sent about the lack of performance parts for our engine 1mz. they showed interest in this forum & asked if i would give them the link to our thread here about NST. i really think the more who show interest that we are for real we want to mod our engines ,but can't due to the lack of companies making parts for the 1mz someone is gonna step to the plate & make more parts. they only gain to profit. this thread is what a day old & look at the interest. let it be known we are out here, & want to mod our engines.

If anyone is interested, NST is just finishing up a group od LIGHTWEIGHT crank pulleys as well, NOT the underdrive ones. They now have both types.
And as for people saying these cars are not meant to be fast.....it;s all what you make it.

I'll recall my experience with my URD lightweight crankshaft pulley.
Shortly after it was installed, I really didn't feel much difference at first. I fondly recall in January 2006 the week before I took it to the track and clocked under 18 second in the 1/4 mile for the first time (7,411 feet elevation), that I had to run the vehicle at least 100 miles. I remember the accelerator pedal getting a bit harder and I could sense the difference with the pulley on there after that time. So when you get this pulley or for that matter any other performance part, give it and your vehicle's computer a chance to wear-in the product.
I remember a few years ago that there was a company that had made prototypes for a 3 pulley set, but I haven't heard from them in a long time, and don't think they are in business, but I would have at least jumped on getting the smaller pulleys to complement my existing one.
One thing I should mention as a moderator, but no one has run afoul yet (thank you), but do keep in mind this rule, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/faq...faq_group_buys

I just ordered the pulley myself in red, my favorite color, lol. Also, I emailed NST about the belt part numbers and they stated that the numbers are for a Gates brand belts and the auto parts store should be able to cross reference them to another brand belt if needed. So, basically, per NST, just give the part number to the auto parts store of your choice and they will give you the appropriate belt. Ok, anyone know of a DIY on changing out the belts and crank pulley.........thanks.

^ I will admit, thats my "Camry", lol. With an ES front end, but it;s the same as the ES300. I'm actually making a meet in Toronto next summer and hopign to rent a Road Course for a day for the meet. And yes, there will be a bunch of Camry's on the track, lol.
I need to start a thread for people to post pics of their ES's on a track......
